Publisher: Face
Year: 1990

Gameplay Score: 1
Gameplay Notes:
On a 5x5 grid you choose from a handful of face cards to place them such that they create a winning hand of poker cards in every direction, including diagonally. The concept sounds simple, but it's a bear in practice. I played half a dozen matches but never successfully completed one, even when I successfully created at least one pair in every single direction. No matter what I did I couldn't complete a stage. So frustrating.
Level Design Score: 1
Level Design Notes:
As near as I can tell this is a one-trick pony. No levels or modes. Just a game of poker solitaire. There are three difficulty levels, with the two Hard modes giving you a time limit.
Theme Score: 2
Theme Notes:
The cover shows a beach and the backside of a bikini girl, as if this is a peek-a-boo card game. The board is framed by a japanese building with a huge smiling girl's face in the background. I have no idea what happens when you successfully finish a puzzle.
Art Style Score: 2
Art Style Notes:
Looks decidedly 8-bit. The cards are small but clear. The play area is quite small, with a large, unnecessary border. Drab
Audio Score: 2
Audio Notes:
Weird harpsichord music plays. Sound effects are minimal and pleasant, but you may as well just mute and play your own music.
