Blunder BoyGenre: action - hack n slash
Publisher: Tonkin House
Year: 1989
System: PCE
Gameplay Score: 1
Gameplay Notes:
Floaty controls. Terrible platforming. You slide off platforms all the time. Hard to land a jump.
Level Design Score: 2
Level Design Notes:
Cheap enemy placement. They pop up all over the place. Levels are too vertical and feature tiny platforms.
Theme Score: 1
Theme Notes:
No idea what's going on. You look a bit like Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece.
Art Style Score: 2
Art Style Notes:
NES+ quality graphics. Not a trainwreck but as tame as could be.
Audio Score: 0
Audio Notes:
Atrocious, offkey music. I can't begin to express how terrible the "music" is. Imagine the distorted sounds when Yoshi touches a fuzzy in Yoshi's Island, but with random pounding on the piano as the starting point. It's a shame because the sound effects are perfectly pleasant.
