Gameplay

Long animations on your attacks leaves you vulnerable. Also all attacks have no arc to them so you have to hit in exactly the correct x axis. Unforgiving hit detection.
No health pickups
Cycle through a long list of items by pressing a single button
Slow deliberate movement

Level Design

1-2 can bite me. Riding on a roller coaster is a cool set piece but makes for a terrible gaming experience since you're just avoiding or punching floating projectiles. This just highlights how little range your attacks have.
The other levels are mostly straight forward

I really really want to love this game. BTAS is the best cartoon of all time.

Incredibly nice sprites and animation.
Huge boss sprites.
Style is ripped from the Batman the Animated Series.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
