Demolition Man

Stallone puts his knitting skills to good use

Genre: action - gun

Publisher: Acclaim

Year: 1995

System: SNES

Gameplay Score: 2

Gameplay Notes:

Decent controls Switches between side and top-down, like two games knitted together Practically no hit detection in side view levels. Typical western stuff like endless spawning baddies Enemies sometimes disappear instantly

Level Design Score: 3

Level Design Notes:

Ok levels. Nothing memorable or noteworthy

Theme Score: 3

Theme Notes:

Silly setting but it's just a beefy guy shooting bad guys. Follows the mediocre movie

Art Style Score: 3

Art Style Notes:

Dark and grainy like a Genesis game Jarring graphical differences between the side view (prerendered) vs top down (chibi). Its as if two game engines were smashed together.

Audio Score: 2

Audio Notes:

Terrible music/sound "Be Well"

Overall Score: 48

Review ID: 131
