GP-1 Part II
GP-1 Part II with 3 difficulties Four your consideration V boredomGenre: racing - bike
Publisher: Atlus
Year: 1995
System: SNES
Gameplay Score: 2
Gameplay Notes:
Vastly improved controls. Possible to make tight turns. No need for a brake button, just ease off the gas. Three difficulty levels. Get boring as there's really no gameplay beyond making turns. The other racers don't even have hitboxes so they're not even obstacles.
Level Design Score: 2
Level Design Notes:
Much shorter tracks. Nothing interesting
Theme Score: 1
Theme Notes:
Same generic design and setting. Qualify, race, repeat. More of an arcadey feel to it but the structure is standard simulation fare. At least it uses MPH rather than KPH
Art Style Score: 2
Art Style Notes:
Looks ok but without any real sense of speed.
Audio Score: 2
Audio Notes:
Has in game music now that is a generic arcade track. Not sure if it's an improvement over the too-loud engine sounds from the original. Meh
