Gameplay

2v2 arcade hockey. In principle this sounds great but the performance is horrible.
Embarrassingly bad framerate. This is nearly unplayable.
Thankfully you can adjust the game speed, something unavailable in the SNES version. It's still very slow.
I like the two button controls, but there's no depth.
AI is incredibly stupid. Your teammate is always an AI so it's basically 2v1.
Impossible to score.

Art Style

Huge sprites and clear graphics but oh the framerate and animation are horrible. Horrible I tell you!
Graphics are less colorful than the SNES version with far less detail as well.

Really bad. The circus music on the title screen sets the stage perfectly.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
