Gameplay

Plays a bit better than the SNES version. Still horrible though. The main challenge is pushing your way around the other character to get to the rim. They have a huge hitbox and rarely go for a steal so you just kind of have to push your way past them.
Offense is difficult because the controls are incredibly floaty. It's like playing basketball on an ice rink.

Level Design

There are several modes but I can only choose 1v1. I'd like to see how 2v2 is to compare it to NBA Jam, but alas, I'll never know.

I have as much interest in Street ball as I do in Street hockey. GTE made a street hockey game, you say? Oh boy.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
