Gameplay

There's simple, and then there's too simple. The Puyo Puyo formula is, in my book, too simple. It's ok, just boring.
Blocks of two fall from the sky and fill the empty space. It's Dr. Mario but with a much smaller space and lower stakes.

Kirby talking smack to his foes like this is a fighting game is... Weird

It's a bunch of blobs so there's nothing to get excited aboutm but everything is pleasing so props for staying on theme.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk. There's an optional Active Battle System and an innovative Single and Team techniques system. No grinding necessary.
