Massive variety of gameplay Includes overhead and side-view levels plus lots of mini-game diversions such as gambling, dungeon crawling, and even an arcade with a fully playable Gradius Massive boss fights are Very responsive and simple two-button controls Fun powerups to collect

Overhead stages play a bit like River City Rampage with shops to visit and branching paths and infinitely spawning enemies Side-view levels are more traditional hack n slash levels with strong platforming

Theme Notes:

Very Japanese but in a good way. Very silly

Art Style Notes:

Wonderful graphics and animations Perhaps the most colorful game in the SNES library


Audio Score: 4

Audio Notes:

Music fits the theme perfectly. Excellent boss themes and Japanese-themed compositions with lots of string sounds. Enjoyable sound effects
