Gameplay

After playing time trial I was hopeful that the game wouldn't be a complete train wreck but alas I was wrong - this game sucks. Making turns isn't terrible - it's not one of those games where you'll be driving off the road constantly - but it is one of those racing games where you tap tap tap to turn the right amount and to recenter once you're on a straightaway.
The real kicker is the horrendous framerate. In time trial it's bad but tolerable. In a race with other racers the game becomes a slide show. This highlights the poor controls and makes the game nigh unplayable.

Level Design

Time trial and tournament modes.
Only played one track as I was never able to finish it. The track wasnt bad so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that other tracks would be alright.

Speed Racer is dumb.

Art Style

If not for the terrible framerate this game would have decent graphics. The car models are decent anyway.
