Gameplay Notes:
Weird, stilted movement. Players kind of run into each other and stay there. Feels like a little league game where kids all flock to the puck and slash at it with little effect. Movement is a lot better with open space. Hard to complete a pass. The puck doesn't always go where you want it to. Shooting often has a long animation, but it's not terrible again because opponents aren't very good at dispossessing you. Overall the game plays slowly but not terrible. This saving grace is that scoring is actually possible with one timers or just a good shot.

Exhibition, season, All-Star Game. Lots of adjustments like turning off all fouls and offsides and whatever else.

Theme Notes:
NHLPA but no NHL license. Meticulous stats keeping if you care about such a thing in a hockey game. I don't even know what stats you would keep in a hockey game other than goals.

Art Style Notes:
The sprites are very small and don't move naturally. There's also little cutscenes like in other Tecmo games, but here they're kind of ugly. Especially the face off were to disembodied ugly hockey. Man heads move towards each other so close that you wonder if they're going to kiss. It's weird

There's a lot of music in the game and none of it is any good.
