Gameplay

Insanely difficult, even on easy. Enemies take way too many hits. 4 or 5 for even the smallest enemies! This is the main problem.
Only two kinds of weapons - a narrow spread shot or balls that move in circles. You can also collect two options which are attached to your ship and sometimes take a hit. It's random though - sometimes you die when hit, even with all power-ups, but sometimes you only lose an option.
Oddly, all enemies and environmental elements have collision and don't hurt you. Instead, only shots hurt you. Knocking into something and being knocked back feels weird.
Your ship is huge, like in Space Megaforce.

Level Design

The same enemy waves are reused over and over. The backgrounds are all just a star filled sky.

Theme

Same old sci-fi, one-ship-against-the-alien-invaders story. However, the Engrish is epically bad and I love it. The enemy designs and whatnot are also great.

Art Style

As boring as the backgrounds are, the sprites are amazing! There's some slowdown, as you'd expect from a 1992 release, but it doesn't take away from the great pixel artwork and framerate.

Audio

The music isn't bad but oh man are the sound effects terrible. The sounds played for your shot and each time an enemy takes damage are shrill. Turn the volume way down
