Gameplay

Opponents are much faster than you, even on Easy with their speed dialed down. They intercept virtually all passes so don't bother trying. Defense is impossible since your slide tackle animation takes you across the entire length of the field, taking you completely out of the play. Oh and it never connects anyway.
The difficulty settings make the enemy goalie a pansy so if you can get the ball down the field it's easy to score.
The only saving grace is a special shot by holding down X, Mario Strikers-style. You have to power it up for quite a while but it's fun to use.

Level Design

Lots of configuration available, despite only having two modes: Exhibition and Tournament. The difficulty settings really help make the game accessible.

Theme

The SD characters are fun, and the game doesn't take itself seriously.

Art Style

Small SD sprites are somehow shorter and smaller than any similar SD Ultra titles like the Great Battle games. However, they aren't as interesting here.

Audio

Lame, monotonous music plays continuously. It loops every 5 seconds or so and sounds like a Harry Belafonte song.
