Gameplay

Not as responsive as I'd like. It doesn't do what I want it to do. Movement is particularly difficult. It works best to simply stay put and wait for enemies.to come to you. Hit detection also feels a little bit off. Also, only four button controls.

Level Design

Has some strange RPG elements between stages where you visit shops. There's no English translation patch so it's hard to figure out what to do. All this means is a lot of time between fights. Oh and one of the shops allows you to get on a fight between two computer players.

Theme

Weird, wild, and wacky. You're a spiky haired dude named Bang and your gallery of opponents includes 4 hot girls with proper jiggle physics. Yeah, it's over the top. The other fighters are all sci-fi charicatures like androids and cyborgs. It's great.

Art Style

Huge sprites that are very well drawn. Dynamic backgrounds full of color and animated elements. Awesome sci-fi setting. My only complaints are 1) there are so few special moves to add visual variety, and 2) your shadows are massive flashing blobs that are horribly distracting.

Audio

Great soundtrack and sounds. An announcer introduces both fighters at the start of every round.
