Gameplay

Floaty controls. Not terrible, but still very difficult to land on narrow platforms. The lack of powerups makes the subpar platforming the only thing to do here.

Level Design

The overhead section reminds me of the first TMNT game on NES where you're walking around narrow streets of a modern city. Only this one looks much uglier, there's nothing to see, and it's unclear how to enter houses or the platforming levels. So, huge negative on the overall structure of the game. Maybe it would make more sense if I understand Japanese, but I struggled mightily to figure out what to do and where to go.
The platforming sections, few they be, are uninspired at best. Your only attack is jumping on enemies head. In 30 minutes I only found two stages - a typical green stage that I entered by walking into a metal slide at a city park, and a haunted mansion that was attached to a sandbox, for some strange reason.

Theme

You're a block-head cat wearing a blue hoodie. At least that's what it looks like. You walk around talking to humans for who-knows what reason. I'm not sure why wbut I found the whole situation offputting.

Art Style

Thoroughly unimpressive visuals, especially the backgrounds of the platformer sections which are devoid of detail. Sprites are ok although not particularly attractive. Your character is cute enough but the enemies are few and far between and simply drawn. Not bad, but just blah overall. The overhead scenes are actually pretty bad. They look like one of those early 90s educational DOS games.
