Gameplay Score: 1
Gameplay Notes:
Drive, crash, drive, crash. Not fun. Other cars have no collision, which is a plus, but the physics in this game are terrible.
Level Design Score: 2
Level Design Notes:
Three modes: GP, VS, and Time Attack. GP allows you ot choose a difficulty, but I can't get out of last place in Easy, so what's the point?
Theme Score: 3
Theme Notes:
Real F1 racers, including Michael Schumacher, and the F1 racing teams as well.
Art Style Score: 2
Art Style Notes:
Typical Mode 7 racing visuals. However you only get half the screen. Actually you get about a quarter of the screen due to a massive HUD. The other half is a rather impressive set of camera options, including a top-down view. You could even play the game looking at that view instead of the behind-the-car view. The cars look good for the most part, although they're quite small.
Audio Score: 1
Audio Notes:
Just engine noise. The menu song is nice, but in-game it's just you and the roar of the engine.
Overall Score: 29
