Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
This is where the difficulty picks upGenre: strategy - turn-based tactics
Publisher: Nintendo
Year: 1996
System: SFC
Gameplay Score: 4
Gameplay Notes:
Holy crap this game is hard. The first stage is 2+ hours long without any restarts. I can only imagine what the late game looks like. A few nice features have been added, including moving after making an attack. The core Fire Emblem gameplay is excellent as usual, but man is the difficulty ramped up.
Level Design Score: 4
Level Design Notes:
Again, the stages are way too difficult. One small mistake and you'll lose a unit. Brutal

Art Style Notes:
Vastly improved artwork. The men are still too effeminate and the overhead artwork isn't incredible, but the battle animations are very, very good.
Audio Score: 4
Audio Notes:
Nice music that isn't as epic as I had hoped. It's a lot of horns playing and while it doesn't get tiresome, it's also forgettable.
