Gameplay Notes:
Vast improvement over the Genesis version which I did like. Your sprite is nowhere near as huge and hot detection is also much improved. Gimmick is an option which you can rotate around your body in either direction with the 2 or Run buttons. Why they didn't use 1 instead of Run is beyond me. Includes an auto fire option which you would be crazy to not use Visit shops (think U.N. Squadron) to buy different weapons and replenish health. Not one hit kills thankfully.
Level Design Score: 3
Level Design Notes:
Enemies come from all angles. Memorize the level and rotate your option is take out waves as they appear. Same short levels as the Genesis version.

Art Style Notes:
Another massive improvement over the 1989 Genesis title. Fantastic use of bold, bright colors and great backgrounds and sprites.
Audio Score: 4
Audio Notes:
Say it with me again - a massive improvement over the Genesis version. Night and day, really. The sounds are still too small for what should be a full throated action game, but everything is perfectly nice.
