Way more variety than the original. The view switched every minute or so and isn't just a boring scroll to the right. Boss fights are fun and intense. Shoot the projectiles while scoring hits on the boss.

Great music and sound effects but the enemies yell out out one of three statements over and over. It's funny at first but annoying soon after that.
