Gameplay

Same as its predecessor.

Level Design

Way more variety than the original. The view switched every minute or so and isn't just a boring scroll to the right.
Boss fights are fun and intense. Shoot the projectiles while scoring hits on the boss.

Wild West theme!

Not bad but still a pixelated mess. Moves much better than the Genesis version

Audio

Great music and sound effects but the enemies yell out out one of three statements over and over. It's funny at first but annoying soon after that.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
