Super International Cricket
Man I suck at cricketGenre: sports - cricket
Publisher: Nintendo
Year: 1994
System: SNES PAL
Gameplay Score: 1
Gameplay Notes:
Fielding is annoying. Your hitbox is tiny. The ball dribbles past you nearly every time, even when you're right on top of it. And the ball rolls and rolls forever. When bowling, I can't get anyone out. They score EVERY SINGLE time!! Natually, when hitting I get out more often than not. And this was on Easy. Not fun at all.
Level Design Score: 2
Level Design Notes:
There's a few different modes, including a fast match (for those of us who want to jump in), a one-day match, and a world series. It also has three difficulty levels.
Theme Score: 2
Theme Notes:
The menus have jazzy music which gives off a good vibe, plus there's crowd noise when something happens. Something the Brian Lara games didn't do. Still, I think this is only going to appeal to someone from the British Commonwealth.
Art Style Score: 2
Art Style Notes:
Characters have a digitized photo quality, with minimal animation. It's like Mortal Kombat as a stuffy sports game.
Audio Score: 3
Audio Notes:
Nice menu music and crowd noise. Not must to hear, actually.
Overall Score: 32
