Gameplay

You're a boy who's been turned into a blob. You have four forms which you can morph into at will, albeit with strict limitations. Your movement differs for each form, and none of them feel good. There's a bouncy ball which is awful to control as you bounce off every surface and it requires numerous bounces to get to the height needed for most platforming. Then there's an iron ball which allows you to smash into walls and nothing else. Then there's a ball of water which let's you walk through some walls and floors and finally there's a cloud which allows you to float upward and laterally but not downward for some reason. It all feels terrible and so constraining.

Level Design

There are 36 stages which are multiple screens wide and tall and require a precise sequence of morphs and movements. Prepare for a lot of trial and error as you figure out the correct solution. You can overuse your morphs but won't get credit for clearing the level. It's weird. The platforms are often too small for your huge body, making traversal a chore.

Theme

Discount Marty McFly. The mad scientist next door conducted a human experiment on you using Lucca's teleportation device but instead turned you into a pile of goo. Your job is to collect the missing pieces of his machine so he can presumably restore your health. The more you think about it the dumber it seems.

Art Style

That oh so familiar Amiga look. Not a trainwreck but also patently unimpressive. Interactive elements are hard to see.

Audio

No music whatsoever. And the sound effects are rare.
