ESPN Sunday Night NFL

ESPN must've been an expensive license

Gameplay

Passing is tough as you have to use R to cycle through receivers.
Gotta have the reaction time of an actual NFL QB to make it through your progressions but regardless, your pass always arrives late so your receiver and an opponent are there waiting.
The hit detection is terrible. Hard to tackle and hard to tell if you've caught a ball.
Running plays begin with you in control of the QB. If you don't wait for the handoff you'll wander off with QB. It's hard to tell exactly when the handoff happens which can lead to delays in starting your run. The timing is annoying
Madden clone but picking a play takes 2 extra clicks compared to Madden.

Level Design

Just exhibition

Theme

NFL license but no players
Doesn't show details after each play like yards gained or player #. Poor presentation

Art Style

Everything scales in and out which makes everything look herky jerky.
Sprites are miniscule against the enormous field.
Pretty ugly

Audio

White noise crowd noise.
No sound effects except the tackle. It's like the sound is on mute.
