No Pause button! Are you serious? Long load times between fights Unplayable on a 3 button controller. The block button is Start. Yeah good luck with that. Slow gameplay Excellent hit detection Long animations leave you open to attack Very difficult, even on Easy and with a handicap. 7 fighters although Scorpion and Sub-Zero are just palette swaps I personally just hate the controls. They feel so unresponsive compared to other fighters.

Only one mode of play - Tournament. It has some interesting later levels such as having to fight two opponents in a row but this is to compensate for the fact that there are only two boss enemies.

The prerendered graphics have aged poorly. The artwork itself is also uninteresting and grainy. The backgrounds are similarly spartan. Overall not nice to look at.
