Gameplay

The controls are weird and inconsistent, or my brain just doesn't figure it out. You point the d-pad towards the road rather than relative to the direction you're moving. Gameplay is slow which works best for this type of game. Unfortunately I was never fast enough to passing a single other car so I could never win anything it last place.

Level Design

Only a career mode. The variety of tracks makes up for the lack of modes.

Major language barrier. Challenging to manage the shop. I like the career theme, but the language barrier saps my enthusiasm.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
