Gameplay

Plays like a mix between Bubble Bobble, Mega Man, and Balloon Fight. Enemies spawn in routinely and can be killed in one hit (so are you) but many are riding on balloons or birds which permits them to fly. You can either pop their balloon or kill them and take it for yourself.
Far less lag thatn the PCE version, but still a poor gaming experience.

Level Design

In concept, I like the stage design, but it's hard to determine what's a platform and what will kill you. Also, many platforms can be jumped through, but not all. The goal is to reach your kiwi girlfriend after running through a gauntlet of enemies and obstacles. Now that I think of it, this is like the great, great granddaddy of Super Meat Boy.

This game feels like a sequel to the PCE version, with all new stages. There's no difficulty curve. It starts high and stays there.

Art Style

Step up from the PCE version, but still basic. Tons of sprites on screen, but it comes at the cost of crippling slowdown.

Audio

This was the era of a droning song with only a few measure. This one is so grating that I muted it. Not the worst thing ever, but yeah, it's bad. the jumping sound effect, on the other part, is downright awful.
