Gameplay
This is a coaching simulator. You pick the play, hope for the best, and watch the awful video. You can choose from 9 plays. Yes, nine total plays. And for the Niners there's only a single running play. Not that it matters though. It's completely random. You might as well just roll a dice over and over and over again. What a terrible concept.
Level Design
The only configuration you can choose is the length of the quarters. There's only a single game with no context for when or where it's played.
Theme
The presentation is minimal without any menus or ambiance, but they have NFL and NFLPA licenses plus a convincing voice track giving commentary on each play. Naturally, the same videos and phrases are said repeatedly so the novelty wears off quickly.
Art Style
Hideous. It looks more like John Conway's Game of Life than an NFL game broadcast. Probably the worst FMV of all time.
Audio
Good sound quality on the voices and the crowd noise. There's no music but sound wasn't what cause me to hate this game so much.
