Gameplay

You can take maybe 3 or 4 hits. No idea how to tell the number given the hud they give you.
Momentum problems are better than the original.
Eats inputs sometimes, especially trying to jump off the end of a platform that has a slight downward grade.
Technical issues - slowdown
All inputs have noticeable lag, especially the special weapons like the nerf gun

Art Style

Much better. Things don't look as flat.
However the graphics are extremely busy. Everything animates and the background is full of stuff. It reminds me of the Amiga games like Zool and James Pond.

Audio

More music but all tracks have an annoying clicking/crackling sound that had me wondering if my headphones were broken.
Not good music in generally
Has sounds effects when attacking an enemy.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable.
