Gameplay

Passing is still very difficult. Maybe more so than the previous game. Running takes a step back. Hard to turn and move upfield. Players bounce off each other a lot making everything feel floaty.

Same modes as ever

Finally got NFL license.
Presentation takes a huge leap forward with animated intros and details like player celebrations.

Art Style

What happened? Player models are tall lanky and do not animate well at all. Everything looks weird and performs poorly.

Same crowd noise as always. Sound quality is very poor.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
