Gameplay

Inexplicably goes back to being impossible to score a goal. Plays like a fast 93 rather than an improved 94.
I just checked and sure enough this was done by the 93 devs. It has to be. The graphics look identical.

Level Design

Adds a whole bunch of practice and player creation modes. The core game isn't better and tournaments appear to be gone.

The menus and game intros take a huge step back.

Same blocky sprites like 93. The framerate is improved but not as good as the even years.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
