Gameplay

It's a simple game of attrition. If you get a ghost buried under a layer there's no way of getting back to to fix that. A Pac-man only shows up every 4 or so blocks. There might be a strategy but I don't have the interest to discover it.

Level Design

There's endless and a puzzle mode. I generally like puzzle modes nest so this is welcome.

Theme

Not a Pac-man fan so the ghosts and wakka wakka sounds do nothing for me

Art Style

Spartan. No animation in the background and nothing else interesting in menus or between stages. Not much personality

Audio

Annoying song is lifted straight out of a 70s jive flick. Wakka wakka sounds.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
