Gameplay

Very slow gameplay.
Throwing newspapers where you want them requires timing and experience since they won't always go where you think they will.
Hitting animations to ruin people's day is more fun than actually winning.
Really bad controls.

What levels? Its the same street 5 times in a row. Yawn

Theme

As a former paperboy I don't know if it makes for a good game. But hey there are some cute story elements like the newspaper at the end of each level lauding your praise or criticizing your play.

NES quality graphics. Not good

Music has a Seinfeld intro quality. Which is to say, it sucks. Sounds are chirpy but kinda cute

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
