Gameplay

No complaints. Plays just like a 16-bit baseball game should. Pitches are generally slow and easy to take a swing at.

Theme

Arcade goodness. Japan League license, plus 12 MLB teams! No Mariners though. Cool cutscenes play like in Baseball Stars.

Art Style

The player models look like Double Dribble, if you know what I mean. They're hunched over weird and look like they're running hard all the time. They fit the arcade feel for the game.

Audio

I like the corny arcade music and sound effects. Again, it suits the game perfectly.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
