Gameplay

Nothing like the Genesis/SNES version. You play as a lawyer looking dude with an umbrella that fires projectiles with limited range. Floaty controls and enemies that are damage sponges and swarm to you for constant damage. No fun.

Explore a mansion with clearly marked gated doors. Find the right colored key to open the next gate. Rooms are small but filled with enemies that spawn endlessly.

Still from the movie, theme song from the show, voice acting from a B movie casting call, artwork and gameplay from a THQ title. This game has no identity.

Ugly sprites that look nothing like the movie or show this is based on. Generic spooky mansion setting that could be from any game.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
