Gameplay

No movement - just move your cursor to shoot enemies as they fly into frame. They take too many hits and you don't have missiles to hit them with. You only have a cockpit view so it's not terrible to hit them, except those that dart around the screen far faster than your cursor will move.

Level Design

Levels are broken up into small segments with a short cutscene between them to advance the story, no unlike Fox and his wingmates talking thorughout a stage in Star Fox. For an FMV game, this is about as good as it gets.

Theme

Battlestar Galactica ships
Independence Day setting
Star Fox squad dynamics
Oh and a Death Star trench run right in the first stage.
Very much a product of its time.

Art Style

Well, it's FMV and the HUD is huge. Still, the game uses a very strong visual language which makes it easy to spot and fire at enemies. Pretty good for this sort of game.

Audio

Terrible sound mixing. Voices in the cutscense are barely audible behind the loud music.
No music during gameplay. Boring.
Instead of music you get the constant hum of your engine which sounds like a blowdryer.
