Gameplay

Good controls, even though it's incredibly boring. Tracks are way too long.

Level Design

Stage backgrounds don't have much to look at. There are 16 courses but only two modes - Travel and Practice. I played numerous courses but never got to race against other racers. It was just one trial after another.

Theme

Looks and feels like a late 80's arcade title. No complaints, but other than a girl with an umbrella introducing each race, there's not much presentation.

Good scaling, nice sense of speed, but tiny sprites and boring backgrounds.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
