Gameplay

Simple and fun combat which admittedly grows old aftera few minutes. But it's responsive, fair, and features a ton of fun weapons.

Basically an open world with shops and dead ends and all kinds of surprises to find.

Theme

The lack of a translation patch hurts this title. There isn't a lick of English anywhere, making it hard to shop or follow along with the story.

As much as I like the Technos boys, they look archaic and puny compared to the Final Fights of the world.

Audio

Music is a highlight. Fun classical songs are paired with original music that's upbeat and fun.

Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
