Just hold down on the gas

Gameplay

Barely interactive. You don't hold the gas, so much as you use the I and II buttons to set a speed. Once you're cruising you can let go and continue going. That is, until you turn, and even then, interaction is optional. Going offroad only slows you down somewhat. Steering isn't necessary or helpful to complete a turn - the game just turns you and the track. If you wanted to you could simply hold down on the gas (to counteract the offroad slowdown) and watch the laps go by. Opponents are plentiful but lhave almost no hitbox, so they're eye candy also. Just hold down on the gas.
Also, there's no HUD or map, and no turn arrows so it's impossible to anticipate turns. You'll be offroad by the time you hit every turn.

Level Design

I think these are the standard F1 tracks across the world. Without a map I wish you luck implementing any driving strategies.

Theme

No presentiation. Looks and feels like a visually upgraded Atari 2600 game.

Art Style

I was initially impressed by the cockpit view with no HUD, but boredom eventually set in and the blandness of the visuals became obvious.

Audio

Loud, obnxious engine noise and no music.
