Gameplay

As unplayable as its predecessors. I cannot keep my car on the road. This series sucks.

Level Design

A few more modes that let you practice. I still can't qualify for a race against other cars, so I don't know what that experience is like. A few more kinds of turns have been added.

Improved presentation. Has licensing from Ferrari and other makes.

Simple pixel art but great sense of speed. Excellent framerate.

Music is a highlight, even if it's unmemorable.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
