Gameplay

Mostly a SF2 clone but without the R or L buttons
Most fighters have a fireball projectile and a couple of other moves that are either done Guile-style or Ryu-style
Very fast gameplay leaps all over the wide and tall arena.
Controls are responsive and feel good

Level Design

Verticality to some of the levels that is shown off when performing a throw.
Some background scrolling and animation
Reminds me of Dragon Ball Z
Lots of modes including two practice modes - one where the opponent does nothing and the other when they fight back.

No idea what the setting is. Feels like a generic SF2 ripoff

Really bad music. Sound quality is far worse than the SNES version.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
