Gameplay

Reminds me of the Carmen Sandiego games. In this case you're a detective trying to solve a murder mystery by interrogating everyone within the victim's orbit. The gameplay amounts to a seemingly endless series of menus. The gameplay loop amounts to:
Go somewhere.
Talk to someone.
Ask them 20 questions.
Go somewhere else.
Repeat.

Eventually you find evidence and obtain warrants which allows you to arrest and officially interrogate individuals. Be prepared to take a lot of notes.

Level Design

The number of locations and individuals quickly becomes overwhelming. You really have to get invested in the plot to continue.
Advancing the story requires little more than picking the right set of questions to ask. You can ask each person dozens of questions but for each of them only a handful are required to advance the story and give you the right questions.to ask the next person. You'd need to be an actual detective to suffer thru so much information.

Theme

Do you want to solve the mystery of a wealthy businessman in suburban America? Yeah me neither.

Art Style

Not much to see here. Looks like a mid 90s DOS game. *checks notes* Oh, it is a mid 90s DOS game.

An ok song plays continuously. Gets old quickly
