Jelly Boy
Failed Yoshi's Island cloneGenre: action - platform
Publisher: Ocean Software
Year: 1995
System: SNES PAL
Gameplay Score: 2
Gameplay Notes:
Tall jump but poor correction. You're committed. Fun transformations, but they're purely practical to solve a barrier directly before you. Reminds me of Yoshi's Island. Slow movement. You bounce against walls, making it tough to jump up to platforms. Don't let the theme fool you - this is a tough precision platformer. Oppressive time limit conflicts with the encouragement to fully explore stages to collect fruit and find the puzzle pieces which open the boss room.
Level Design Score: 4
Level Design Notes:
I love a lot of the level designs, especially with the light puzzles and transformations. I'd like to keep paying but the difficulty is stopping me.
Theme Score: 1
Theme Notes:
Doooorky! You're a Stretch Armstrong doll shaped like a ginger bread man. You inhabit a toy world. Yeah, not a macho theme

Audio Notes:
The most juvenile music ever composed. Sound effects are fine but that music. Not Ocean's finest soundtrack.
