J.League Pro Striker 2 for MD
Review #6033
J.League Pro Striker 2
Vast improvement
Gameplay
The dribble, dribble, dribble mechanic barely remains. Had I not played the first game I don't think I'd be able to identify what makes this game feel every so slightly off. Thankfully, you can at least move down the field and even put shots on the goal, but passing is virtually impossible, so it's not all sunshine and roses.
Level Design
Theme
The language barrier persists but the menus are patterned after EA Sports' to give far better understandability.
Art Style
The graphics take a step back, with small, uninteresting sprites.
Audio
Normal crowd noises take the place of that abominable fire alarm from the first game. Voices are gone, but that's a small price to pay for an end to the suffering of my poor ears.
