Gameplay

Feels great, but only with the right settings. From the title screen you can configure the game speed, movement speed, and difficulty. It's a shame this is a one-time setting. It would be nice to change movement speed in-game, and the slow game speed, which is default, is painfully slow. I recommend game speed 4 and movement 3.
Two weapons and three sub-weapons can be acquired and powered up a couple of times. I wish there were a couple of other weapons. You can spawn two options by simply doing nothing for a couple of seconds. Kind weird but ok. One-hit deaths make this a tough playthrough, especially on anything but Easy difficulty with slow speed.
Quite a bit of slowdown irregardless of the game speed.

Level Design

This is a cute-em-up with some crazy stuff on screen. Stages are as interesting to watch as they are to play.

Theme

A little too crazy Japanese for my tastes, plus a lot of fan service involving the very yuoung protagonist who's dressed as a House Bunny. Again, a little much for me. An anime episode's worth of video plays before the game and between stages.

Art Style

I love the style and designs but the pixel artwork is fairly basic. Background lack parallax and have some ugly dithering. I would love to score this higher but its drawbacks are many.

Audio

Music perfectly suits the theme and setting. Sounds are also a perfect fit and are fun to listen to.
