Gameplay

Plays just like Ardy Lightfoot. Jump and punch but you quickly gain a friend that you throw to attack enemies. One hit kill makes the game much more difficult than it needs to be. Bounce on enemies like Mario to stun and then kill them with a second bop. You can also float in ari by mashing the jump button. Overall I enjoyed this platformer.

Level Design

The stages meander and have a lot of useless platforms and pickups. Some stages won't end until you have found some hidden items. I love the idea of it all but it's very mid in terms of actual design.

Theme

Very cute. Looks like any of the mascot platformers. One of the cute ones, not the ones with attitude.

Again very cute design even if there's nothing exceptional about the artwork.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
