Gameplay

Top down free roaming shooter with strafe and five weapons. One is useless but the others are fun. My main complaint is that selecting weapons is done on the Pause menu. Difficult game but lots of fun. Novel anyway.

Level Design

Very long stages with 4 or 5 shorter segments. The door opens when you kill all enemies and/or remove all barriers. Every area feels unique. Gotta the gameplay like a glove.

Theme

Not much personality, although the weird voice samples give it a techno organic vibe.

Art Style

Drab colors and underwhelming pixel art. Looks like an early Genesis game.

Audio

Eclectic music is almost so bad it's good. Weird sound effects, including voice samples out of nowhere.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
