Gameplay

Simple and accessible. My only complaint is that it doesn't tell you the drive distance for each club. So make yourself a little cheat sheet before playing. Other than that this is a really nice, simple golf title. Love it.

Level Design

Three modes (1P Stroke, 2-4P Stroke or Match). However, only one course and no ability to pick which hole you tackle. It always drops you on the first hole. So replayability is hampered. The holes themselves are simple and realistic. No complaints there.

Theme

Minimal. No leaderboard or tournaments here. Just you and your clubs.

Art Style

Very simple graphics. Maybe a step up from an NES title, but with some ugly pixel work on trees and such. It's going for a realistic look but would've done better with a cutesy style.

I intitally enjoyed the song but it wore on me after long.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
