Gameplay

High difficulty
Lovely weapon selection that is never OP, including homing options. Some weird enemy movement patterns.
No secondary weapon.

Level Design

I wish I could give it top marks, as some of the stages are amazing. The stage 3 trench run is one of the best fast tunnel runs in a shooter.

Theme

Set in 2012-2015. The devs thought we'd be spacewaring in only 20 years?!

Great opening cinematic. Epic soft sci-fi with mechs and space gunships galore.

Tremendous pixel art of mechs, spaceships, explosions. Incredible detail.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
