Honey, I Shrunk the Elephant
Gameplay
Short jump
Bad hitboxes
Limited moveset, including the ability to pick up blocks. This is never spelled out and is awkward to use.
Shoot balls from your nose at three different angles. Most enemies die quickly but later levels they take many hits. They don't swarm you so you mostly avoid them.
Slippery movement and rounded platforms.
Collectathon
Level Design
Confusing mazes and puzzles.
Foreground graphics cover up platforms and collectable.
Poor visual language for platforms.
Leaps of faith and one-hit kill spikes are everywhere.
Theme
You're an elephant that's shrunk down. Battle living toys in the first stage and then zombie monsters underground. Uh, ok. No story, thankfully.
Art Style
Amiga graphics. Some cute sprites, like the robot, but others are hideous, including your sprite.
Audio
Annoying, circus style music. I turned it down and muted before long.
