Gameplay

I wish I could award this a negative number. You can throw left and right jabs, hooks, and an uppercut, but you will NEVER connect! There's no rhyme or reason to this nonsense. No indicator of if and when to do anything. Your best bet is to block the entire time until the round ends. What even is this?!

Who knows? I couldn't win the first bout.

Theme

The opening video is great. It introduces you and features a great cast of characters encouraging you. I was ready to go as the bell rings. Even the acting was decent.

Art Style

Black and white video which takes up (no joke) a quarter of the screen. This is an embarrassment. Still, the video quality is much better than many of these dumb FMV titles.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
